This review is LONG OVERDUE. Last September I contacted this bar to see if I could get reserve a seating area for my birthday. Elliot reached out to me and kindly assisted me to making that happen. Bar is beautiful, drinks are great, vibes are amazing. We met Elliot & he was so sweet & professional. This bar deserves a ton of business!

Super cute bar with good music. We came here to celebrate a birthday, reserving an area was easy and by 9pm the music was great and the ambience made the night out fun. I appreciated being able to bring our own food and overall a great place to come celebrate or have a good time.

Our first time here. Come in, order up, relax. Great drink choices. It has an outdoor table. Perfect for drinks while enjoying the night life. Inside can be crowded. Will be back to enjoy some fun nights with friends. Con: Parking can be tough. Garage nearby.

1st time here and interesting to find Filipino beers on the menu. Great early 2000s throwback hits playing on a Saturday night and the place stayed busy throughout. Typical modern bar vibes with moderate to loud noise. No bar snack options but they do have a good variety of international snacks for purchase. Our server for the first round was very friendly, took the time to let us know about the different options they have for the Filipino beers. However, 2nd time around another server seemed more interested to make cocktails and a bit reluctant to serve a round of beers. Right across Glendale galleria next to a bunch of other bars and restaurants, so this place could always be a good starting spot for the night.

Great revamp!!!, thee new ambiance is beautiful!!!, cant stress that enough. Vibes like no other!, staff is so friendly. The drinks are Delicious! My fav thing about the revamp is how good it smells inside. Imported purchasable snacks i cant wait to try them all. They also have amboy cooking delicious glizzy hotdogs and smash burgers i highly recommend. Definitely a better famous bar with a great new owner! do not sleep on this place give them a chance and go get your dance on.

It was my first time at the Famous bar and they've just reopened. The decor is beautiful with real dried leaves and flowers over the bar leaving a nice smell, the couches and chairs are really sturdy and comfortable. The staff, security, bartenders and owners are top-notch with their excellent service. I came with a friend who doesn't drink alcohol and there's a decent selection of mocktails on the menu. The caprese-ish in particular was the best drink we've had in a long while, with a salty savory flavor that feels light to drink. Highly recommend!! They have a pop up food vendor set up outside (they announce on their IG on who will be coming when). Was lucky enough to have Amboy's burger which was so so delicious. Can't wait to see who else they'll bring out.

Although I love the bars in Studio City, I think I may have just discovered my new favorite spot in Glendale. I met a few friends for drinks last Friday @ The Famous, which is located in the heart of Glendale. I ordered my regular old fashioned with Makers Mark. The bartender perfected my drink both times. This is the perfect bar to go to after dinner, before calling it a night. Their music was upbeat and I loved the ambience. The servers were attentive to all guests and extremely prompt in bringing out the drinks. Their prices are fair and service is superb. Now that I've been to this bar, I know I'll end up going back again. You can find them on Instagram @thefamousbar . Make sure to stop by the next time you're in Glendale. This place is great.

Went there to celebrate one of my good friend's birthday last Thursday. What a blast!! The atmosphere was fun, the bartender was amazing!!! Everyone was having a wonderful time. The drinks were excellent and they also have water easily available on the side for self serve. There is pay parking up front, and there is also a parking structure right behind (90 minutes free, $1 every 30 minutes). HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

I recently hosted my birthday party at The Famous, and it was a refreshing PRE COVID experience. One of the things that impressed me about this bar was how easy it was to communicate with them through Yelp. They were accommodating and allowed me to bring in catered food and decorate if I wanted to. Not to mention the ambiance was low dim lighting but good enough to see. Fully stocked cocktail bar also with a few good beers on tap like Alagash my favorite. The service was top-notch, and I was especially pleased with the bottle service. I decided to splurge on a Classe Azul tequila bottle, which cost me $600, but it was worth every penny. The staff was attentive and ensured my guests, and I were well cared for throughout the night. Parking was a breeze as well. While valet parking is not available from the business. The business next door was nice enough to allow me to park in the back, but I had to ask beforehand if it was allowed, and they kindly obliged. This was perfect because it made delivering the catered food a breeze from "Top Restaurant," which I highly recommend! On Fridays, they have a DJ starting at 8PM, and while there were some technical difficulties that night and he was a bit late, it didn't dampen our spirits. Overall, but is why I'm giving it a 4 star rating. I had a fantastic time at The Famous and would highly recommend it for any special occasion or night out with friends.
